The flames were so intense that responders couldn’t reach the victims in time. The crash began when Doniell Snow drove his Chevy Tahoe the wrong way on I-70, hitting a Honda Accord and then colliding head-on with a Chevy Trax carrying Natalie Daly and Nevin Vince. Inside the Trax were Natalie Daly and Nevin Vince, both just 18 years old, recently celebrated high school graduates, returning home after a day of joy and anticipation. Tragically, all three victims died instantly at the scene, their lives snuffed out in a matter of moments.

A fourth vehicle, a Chevy Malibu, was also damaged in the chaos, but its occupants have not yet been identified. The scene was chaotic, with twisted metal and flames that made rescue efforts perilous.
