The Can-Am Defender rolled onto its passenger side, crushing 11-year-old Treyvion Edwards after both he and the driver were thrown from the vehicle. The crash happened on a private trail in Coffee County, Georgia, during a reckless driving maneuver known as “donuts.” Witnesses acted quickly, lifting the UTV and transporting Edwards to Coffee Regional Medical Center, but he did not survive.

On a quiet, private trail in Coffee County, Georgia, a tragedy unfolded that has left a community mourning deeply. 

An 11-year-old boy named Treyvion Edwards lost his young life in a devastating accident involving a Can-Am Defender, an off-road utility vehicle, during a reckless stunt that spiraled out of control.  

It was a day marked by youthful daring—an attempt to perform “donuts,” a risky maneuver where a vehicle spins in tight circles, often driven for thrill rather than safety. 

In this instance, the driver, an 18-year-old, was maneuvering the UTV with apparent disregard for the potential danger. 

As the vehicle spun, it suddenly rolled onto its passenger side, flipping violently and trapping Treyvion underneath. Both he and the driver were ejected from the vehicle amidst the chaos.  

Witnesses near the scene acted swiftly and courageously, rushing to help. With urgent effort, they lifted the overturned Can-Am, desperately trying to free Treyvion, who was unresponsive. 

The young boy was transported immediately to Coffee Regional Medical Center, but despite the swift response, he did not survive. 

The injuries inflicted by the rollover and crushing weight of the vehicle proved fatal, a tragic reminder of how quickly a moment of thrill-seeking can turn into irreversible tragedy.  

The driver, also ejected during the crash, survived but was seriously injured. Authorities
